A month ago, I took the leap and started G-O Plumbing & Heating as a sole trader. Leaving the security of employment to build something of my own was a big decision, but looking back at what has been achieved in just four weeks, I know it was the right one.
It's been a busy first month, and I couldn't be more grateful to everyone who's supported the business, recommended me to friends and family, or trusted me to work in their homes.
In the first month alone I've completed:
- 3 boiler installations
- Numerous boiler services and safety checks
- A heat pump service
- Shower tray installation as part of a bathroom renovation
- TMV removal and pipework alterations
- Basin tap replacements
- General plumbing repairs, heating maintenance and fault finding
Every job, whether it's a full boiler installation or a small plumbing repair, is completed with the same attention to detail and pride in the finished result. I believe neat workmanship, honest advice and treating every customer's home with respect are what make the difference.
Starting a business isn't easy, but seeing happy customers and receiving positive feedback makes all the hard work worthwhile.
